Acoustic Chicago is sponsored by Stonecutter Records,
an independently owned record company with in-house producers
and production services focusing on exposing Chicago’s finest singers
and songwriters.
Mission Statement
Acoustic Chicago is designed to raise awareness of talented artists
and bands in Chicago through a compilation of several artists. This
project is intended to market talent to major labels, promote songs
to radio and sell music independently. This will provide a medium
through which artists and bands can get exposure and springboard
into the market accumulating popularity and eventually becoming
an asset to other industry associates.
Why did we choose the acoustic form? Well, we believe that by
breaking a song into its most simple, acoustic form, the artist's
true essence and the emotional potential of the song is revealed.
